DESCRIPTION:Session description \nFinancial formulas for HealthTech start-ups will serve to have a first approach to the range of financing formulas available for start-ups\, their pros/cons\, especially on venture capital\, as well as to understand some of the start-ups\, as well as to understand some of the formulas for business evaluating. This session will be useful to get used to the terms and language used by investors\, to understand their reasoning\, decision drivers in order to align the messages to them. \nThis session will give you an idea of the basic financial structure of a company and how to structure it financially as well as to learn some methods for business valuation. \n  \nSpeaker’s bio \nSergio San Agustín is a Chemical Engineer: He holds a degree in Business Administration\, a Master’s degree in Financial Advisory from IEB\, an MBA from Tilburg University\, and Ignite Fast Track diploma from Cambridge University. \nSergio has 15 years of experience in innovation and early stage venture capital. He has developed his career in big corporations such as Danone and Moehs Group\, as well as venture capital firms such as Caixa Capital Risc where he managed for 5 years several technology transfer and early stage venture capital initiatives such as CaixaImpulse. Sergio has also collaborated for multiple research centers and universities as mentor\, advisor and trainer\, and managed the valorization and tech transfer initiative Xartec Salut at UPC with 17 participating institutions in Catalonia.
