Session description

This session covers different points for performing the valorization of biomedical technologies, focusing on different points such as market analysis, identification of competing technologies, relevant company’s search, etc. The objective of the lecture is to show different techniques for technology valorization, as well as relevant databases to be used by the researchers and innovation staff for free. This session packs a lot of resources and practical information in a format aimed to be directly used in most of technologies.

Short bio

Vicente’s background is in Human Biotechnology, holding an MBA and a Master in Business Creation and Intellectual Property by the University of Gothenburg. Vicente’s experience ranges from pharmaceutical sales, Intellectual property, business development, and tech-transfer. Currently, he is co-founder and co-director of Viromii, a consultancy firm focused on supporting valorization and tech-transfer operations of public and private R&D institutions.
